Management - Vocational (Education & Training)Our client is a true market leader within the Vocational space, providing apprentices and trainees training opportunities and future careers. Due to recent expansion, they currently seek a Contacts Manager with strong tendering and/or procurement experience to assist in continuing the success in the business. Based out of head office near Brisbane's CBD, with the ability to work from home 2 days per week, the role will utilise your experience with tendering, procurement and supplier management across Skills Assure, or other interstate funding arrangements.On a day to day basis your role will include, but not be limited to:Managing the process of procurement of training and related services and coordinating contract management and supplier management.Coordinating Request For Tender processes and the evaluation of suppliers through the tender process.Monitoring of the budget and advising on allocation of funding, including through the variation process.Relationship management skills by providing a professional and efficient point of contact for RTO's and other suppliers in responding to requests within agreed timelines and to diplomatically liaise with external and internal clients to resolve issues as required, resulting in a suitable outcome.Supporting compliance audits, to inform supplier performance and variations, as required.Assisting in the formulation and preparation of reports, advice and interpretation regarding policies, programs, contractual obligations, performance measures, benchmarking, and risk assessments.You must have the following skills to be successful in this role:Knowledge of VET sector procurement and training purchasing - including open and closed (limited) tender process and direct negotiation strategies.Demonstrated knowledge of contract management processes and lifecycle including program performance assessment and monitoring, relationship management, identification of performance risk, and contract compliance.High level communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain working relationships with contracted parties, resolve conflict and negotiate with external and internal stakeholders, and prepare written reports and correspondence.An understanding of the legal aspects of contracts and agreements (desirable).If you are looking to move to a great team and office environment, with flexible working hours and low staff turnover, this is the role for you.
