Our manufacturing units are currently located in NSW & ACT but we deliver throughout Australia.
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager/Administrator on full-time basis who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of different client contracts throughout the LGS project lifecycle.
Salary : $120,000- $140,000 per annum (depending upon skills and experience) Location: East Lidcombe, NSW 2141 Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and manage contracts for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with LGS construction and manufacturing requirements.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks related to manufacturing, logistics, and construction.
-Oversee and manage contracts, ensuring specifications and timelines are met - Analyse contracts with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits -Negotiate terms and conditions with various stakeholders to secure favourable agreements.
- Manage contract variations, address disputes, and adapt to project changes effectively.
- Monitor budgets and costs, providing detailed analysis to maintain financial efficiency.
- Assess and mitigate contractual risks by identifying potential liabilities, insurance requirements, and indemnification clauses.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all contracts and correspondence.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or conflicts in contracts, implement strategies to mitigate risks before they escalate.
- Provide regular project updates and status reports on contract compliance, potential risks, and overall project progress to project teams, management, and stakeholders - Support the design and manufacturing teams to align contracts with technical capabilities and project goals.
- Assist in preparing tenders and proposals, ensuring accurate contract details are included.
- Collaborate with teams to improve contractual processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure all contracts comply with Australian building codes, safety standards, and legal requirements.
Qualifications, Work experience and Skills: 1. Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, Construction Management, Legal Studies, or related field.
2. At least 3 years of proven experience in contract administration, legal, business development or related role.
3. Strong understanding of contract law.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
6. Knowledge about the construction industry is a plus.
