About the opportunity SRLA is establishing a new Contract Management Support team within its Procurement function.
This team will work with contract managers across the organisation to ensure that SRLA has consistent and high-quality contract management practices, so that its goods and services contracts deliver on expectations for both SRLA and suppliers.
As the Contract Management Support Adviser, you will perform a key role in the implementation and ongoing operation of a new Contract Management Framework (Goods and Services).
You will work closely with procurement colleagues, senior stakeholders within SRLA's delivery units, and external stakeholders to raise awareness and build the support necessary for the framework's efficient and effective adoption.
You will have a high degree of autonomy and exercise significant initiative.
You will have specialist procurement and/or contract management knowledge and experience using data systems.
You will use this to ensure that contract management documentation is fit for purpose, issues are resolved and related activities coordinated so that stakeholder needs are met and compliance with requirements is achieved.
Responsibilities will include developing and managing processes for reporting on key aspects of framework performance, as well as for related government compliance requirements (including the Social Procurement Framework and Local Jobs First).
