Contract Inventor Mechanical Design Draftsperson - 3 To 6 Month Contract

Dandenong South location - specialiast conveyor design and manufacturer 3 to 6 month contracting opportunity Generous hourly rate Our client is a respected local designer and manufacturer of specialist conveyor equipment located in Dandenong South.
Due to business growth they are looking for a 3 to 6 month contract mechanical design draftsperson with significant Inventor experience to step in and add value to their design capability.
In this role, working as part of the team, you will be expected to: • Design new conveyors and material handling systems in Inventor with high levels of quality • Deliver design to agreed timing • Work with the engineering team to resolve any issues as part of the on site manufacturing and customer installation So if you have: • Qualifications ranging from a Cert IV in mechanical drafting, a diploma or bachelor of mechanical engineering or equivalent experience as a mechanical draftsperson • At least 2 years experience delivering CAD in Inventor • An orientation to work as part of a small team in a customer focused environment • Prior experience with the design of conveyors, material handling equipment, gear motors, bearing and pneumatics highly valued And, if your passion is doing detailed mechanical design in an empowered small team environment, this could be the role you are looking for.
Please note this is a 3 to 6 month contracting role with an hourly rate of up to $80 per hour plus super depending on experience.
