Contract Delivery Specialist – Maximum Term 24 months – Perth Office CBD We are seeking a Contract Delivery Specialist who will be responsible for delivery of civil, structural and communication services contracts.
This position also participates in contract implementation activities following award, and ongoing contract delivery which includes preparation of Variation Orders, managing technical queries, progress claims, co-ordinating contract progress, contractor meetings and stakeholder management.
This position is also responsible for monitoring the contract deliverables in line with Western Power's Contract Lifecycle Management Framework.

Your Role in Action Support the Contract Manager in ensuring all contract management activities comply with the Contract Lifecycle Management Framework, contract conditions and WP's document system. Responsible for drafting the notices and issuing in line with the Contract requirements. Manage the payment process for the contractors. Responsible for the end-to-end technical query process (TQ). Maintain accurate records in contract CMMR and EDM, and facilitate clear, auditable processes to ensure transparency and accountability. Arrange meetings between WP and the contractor and capture minutes of the meeting. Support the team in creating a high performing inclusive and collaborative environment. Monitor contract performance against the approved budget and timeframes. Manage own performance and improve personal effectiveness. As necessary prepare the contract templates based on the contract & provide amendments to the original contract. What Makes You a Great Fit Degree or equivalent in Business, Law or Commerce or relevant and demonstrated extensive industry experience of at least 8 to 10 years. Sound knowledge and proven understanding of contract management principles with at least 4 to 5 years contract management experience. Ability to show guidance, communicate effectively, have good interpersonal skills, complemented by influencing/negotiation skills. Ability to implement change and innovation, internally and via contract arrangements. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within a corporate environment.
