About the role As Contract Compliance Officer you will be responsible for all aspects of Contractor Road Freight Service Agreement Management. Your role will ensure that the TGE Group Australian Road Freight Subcontractor Agreements for all contractors are in place and are executed to the standard set out by Team Global Express.
You will also provide support to the business by ensuring all contractors that have been engaged by Team Global Express to perform road freight tasks, have the relevant agreements in place and that the TGE values are enabled through ensuring a unified culture of safety, people, customer focus and operational excellence are in place.
What you'll do Proactively manage relationship between Team Global Express and the Contractor by way of encouraging transparent and open communication between both parties.
Manage, monitor and review subcontractor data, ensuring it is accurate and up to date.
Participate in the investigation process relating to Contractor performance concerns or incidents raised by the TWU.
Actively work with the Contractor to close out non-conformances within the required timeframe as a result of audit and work with HSE assurance team and subcontractors to resolve audit outcomes.
Ensure Contractor services are being provided in line with all aspects of the Road Freight Service Agreement.
Generate reporting and business analytics to monitor and control subcontracts adherence to the agreement.
Support subcontractor recruitment, prequalification, onboarding, and offboarding processes (including placing adverts, compliance checks, contract execution, system set-up, exit interviews)
Support completion of subcontractor prequalification approval in Avetta.
Maintain subcontractor information database.
Manage, monitor and review subcontractor data, ensuring its currency and accuracy at all times including insurances and accreditations.
What you'll bring Understanding of Heavy Vehicle Legislation and Workplace law is desirable.
Understanding of Heavy Vehicle Regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with KPI's and their use to monitor and manage.
Experience in understanding and enforcing contract requirements.
Experience in managing and administering agreements with the business and contractors.
Strong professional acumen with positive attitude
A sound ability to work under pressure and autonomously without direction.
Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation.
Strong analytical skills and capability to analyse data and identify factors in service agreement gaps.
