About The Company:  Our client, a prominent construction and project management firm based in North Melbourne, is currently seeking a Contractor Administrator to join their team.
With a focus on projects valued up to $30 million, our client has a strong track record of delivering exceptional results and is known for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction.
About The Role:  We are looking for a dedicated Contractor Administrator to support our client's Melbourne operations.
As a Contractor Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and subcontractors, and upholding our client's reputation for quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
Maintain precise records of contracts, change orders, and project documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and meticulously organized.
Facilitate effective communication between the project team, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring timely information exchange.
Assist in monitoring project budgets and costs, working closely with the finance team to track expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure contractors adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and project guidelines.
Generate regular reports on project progress, budget performance, and key metrics to keep stakeholders informed.
Address any disputes, issues, or delays promptly and collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in construction project administration or a related role.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of construction industry regulations and practices is a plus.
