Our mission is to partner with our clients to provide best solutions delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.RSGx's expertise is based on our experience in delivering major projects, both in Australia and abroad in the Oil & Gas, mining and infrastructure industries, in a highly collaborative manner with our clients.The Position: RSGx are currently seeking a Contract Administrator (preferably with a Quantity Surveying qualification) to become a part of our success, providing your cost control and contract administration expertise across a portfolio of existing and future projects in our Western Australian operations.You will be enthusiastic and motivated in making a difference, seamlessly communicating to the business with highly developed verbal and written communication skills – you can be in the detail one minute and strategizing against the bigger picture, the next.Key duties will include:working closely with project managers to manage the commercial success of our projectspreparing budgets and forecasts, weekly/ monthly reports – cost to date/ cost to completepreparing budget reconciliations (matching estimate details with scope of works for self-perform works and subcontracted packages), preparing contracts for subcontracted packagessetting the estimate up in the cost systemallocating budget to contract schedule line items according to the WBS structureperforming day to day cost control – utilising costs and cost codes in cost control systempreparing payment claims, monitoring payments and cashflow (forecasting)implementing disciplined change controls – through notifications/ quantificationsmonitoring end to end resolution of change, reportingcarrying out forecast variance Analysisproviding 'Accounts Payable' supportimplementing cost reviews with our clientspreparing client reportsclaims management and dispute resolutionfinal account negotiations / closeoutThe Person: As the successful candidate you will have:Essential:Suitable qualifications in quantity surveying, contract management or some other related disciplinebroad experience in the construction sector which may include development appraisals, pre-contracts, project delivery, construction accounting, claims management/ final account closeoutexperience with Project Controls – Cost of Scheduling, and Cost Controls disciplines (incl P6)expertise in the use of the Microsoft Suite, Procore, JDE and equivalent platformsa collaborative communication style that attracts respectbe a team player, but with the ability to take the initiative and work autonomouslyself-motivated and driven, taking ownership of the issues and the outcomesenergy, passion and drive for what you doresilience and an irrepressible smileThe Next Stage: If you are on the lookout for an opportunity that genuinely progresses your career into the next phase, then I would love to hear from you.
