Contract Administrator (Remedial Building)The Company
Our client is a large, well-established, Tier 1 Remedial Building Company that has been specializing in Residential and Commercial Remedial projects and Re-cladding projects for over 50 years working across NSW and QLD.
The Role
Our client currently has an exciting permanent opportunity for a Contract Administrator with a minimum of 4+ years experience in the Building and Construction industry to join their team.
Your responsibilities will be: Main responsibility is to support a Site Manager with the commercial accountability for Remedial Building and Façade / Cladding projects, this includes reviewing contracts, processing variations and claims.Coordinate and provide assessments of Contractors financial stability and performance.Undertake pricing analysis and consideration of costs to budget for various packages.Analyse the contract general terms and conditions to highlight areas of risk.Review and monitor potential cost movements.Review and certification of contractors progress payments to validate that the costs incurred in the works packages are correctly accounted and captured in accordance with the contract documents and Security of Payments Act.What are we looking for? Essential - Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Contract Administrator roleEssential - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field or relevant experienceExperience working for a Remedial Building company - Desirable but not essentialExperience in forecasts, pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling.Thorough knowledge of contract administration, procedures and documents relating to a construction project.Full Australian Working rights (No VISA sponsorship)What is on offer for you?
