Contract Administrator - Medium Density/Apartments

Roussos Recruitment is pleased to be teaming up with a South Australian builder to appoint a Contract Administrator/Project Coordinator. Specialising in high-end apartments, homes, retirement living, and medium-density townhouse developments, this company has a diverse project pipeline that will provide you with ongoing opportunities to stay inspired and develop your skills.

The Role:You will oversee and refine procurement processes for medium-density apartment and residential projects, driving efficiency and ensuring successful project delivery.
Your daily responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
Oversee procurement processes, including vendor management, negotiations, and subcontractor/supplier agreement coordination.Assess, negotiate, and establish agreements with vendors and subcontractors, fostering strong, long-term relationships.Collaborate with the Project Manager in meetings to discuss budget constraints, project challenges, and ensure alignment with overall goals.Monitor and manage cost centres, procurement phases, and contingency/margin calls.Prepare, issue, and manage project documentation, including subcontracts, supplier agreements, Scopes of Work, and project folders.Regularly visit sites to monitor trade engagement, material usage, and resolve issues.Assist Site Managers with tasks such as progress claims, invoice disputes, pre-handover defects management, and coordination of rectification works.The Ideal Candidate:The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
You'll have the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality results while building lasting relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
