Our mission is focused on providing unparalleled service, exceptional product quality, prompt deliveries, and competitive pricing.Position Overview:The Contract Administrator is responsible for the preparation, interpretation, maintenance, review, and negotiation of variations to contracts within the logistics department.
This role ensures that all contractual agreements are managed effectively and comply with company policies and procedures.
The Contract Administrator will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate contract execution and address any delivery inquiries.Key Responsibilities:Contract Preparation and Review: Draft, prepare, and review variations of contracts with casual drivers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with company policy and legal requirements.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with external partners to secure favourable agreements.Compliance Management: Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Contract Administration and Documentation: Maintain an organised database of contracts and ensure timely renewals or terminations.Coordination with Stakeholders: Liaise with internal teams to ensure contracts support operational and strategic goals.Risk Management: Identify and advise senior management on matters requiring attention and implement their decisions.Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on contract performance and analyse data for trends and improvements within the transport department.Contract Closeout: Oversee the closeout process and conduct post-contract evaluations.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline contract management processes and stay updated on industry best practices.Key Requirements:Qualifications: At least diploma degree in relevant area.
Professional certification in contract management or administration is desirable.Experience: Minimum 2 Years' experience in contract administration, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and management.Skills and Competencies: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
A proactive approach to managing contracts and resolving issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment:This role operates within a dynamic logistics environment, requiring close collaboration with various departments, including procurement, legal, and operations.
