Civcon Civil & Project Management is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our growing team. If you're an experienced Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor who shares our commitment to strive for excellence, we want to hear from you! The position is a full-time permanent position and not contract term.You will be joining a highly experienced project team in which you can expect to grow and develop a long-term career. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and will play a critical part in supporting the project teams in the effective management of commercial outcomes.As a part of the team based on site, you will work independently to provide efficient and effective management of commercial and contractual matters and active daily administration of the Head Contract and Subcontract Agreements.Responsibilities will include the following:Preparation of Subcontract Agreement templates based on the Head Contract documentationAdministration of subcontract packages, including management of variations, EOTs, and daywork claimsAssist the Project Manager to review contractual obligationsDrafting of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts, and/or supplier agreements required for the projectProvide support to the Project Manager to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframesUpdate and maintain notices of delay and extensions of time registersRevise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditionsProvide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reportsAssisting with the project cost reporting and forecastingAbout You:Tertiary qualification in Quantity Survey, Commerce, Construction Management, or similar is preferableMinimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar roleEssential to have experience in the construction industryEssential to have clear, precise, and effective communication skills (both verbal and written)A strong understanding of project cost reportingSound knowledge of commercial principlesRight to work permanently in AustraliaBe willing to work on siteWhat We Offer:Personalised training and career developmentCompetitive remuneration packageSafety focused cultureManagement supportCivcon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we strongly support diversity in our workforce.
