Long-term contract opportunity.Opportunity for career development, within contract management.About Our Client Our client is one of the largest healthcare providers within Australia and New Zealand, employing over 17,000 individuals who both manage and support the execution of a diverse service offering.The suite of services offered incorporate hospitals, pathology clinics, home nursing, an array of disability services, and social outreach programs.Job Description The role will be exclusively responsible for lower value, non-clinical, service and facilities maintenance contracts.The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Preparation and subsequent management of low risk, low value tenders and proposals, which may include general tender documentation, pricing submissions, basic negotiations and the review of basic terms and conditions.Maintain the validity of live contracts through the relevant register which may include but is not limited to variations, claims, supplier performance reviews, pricing reviews etc.Back-end administration particularly around PO governance, contract registration, checking supplier qualifications to ensure compliance to relevant contracts etc.The Successful Applicant The successful candidate would demonstrate or have experience across the following: Previous experience within a similar or equivalent position; demonstrated experience managing service and facilities maintenance contracts would be considered highly desirable.Demonstrated experience managing or supporting on the end-to-end tender process.An in-depth and operational understanding of the end-to-end procurement and contract management process.What's on Offer The role is initially a twelve-month fixed term contract, located in the heart of the Perth CBD just a short walk from multiple train stations.Our client promotes an outcome driven environment, that has enabled them to support a hybrid arrangement that encourages a healthy balance between life and work.The role would suit an individual who is looking to further their career within contract management, as the role offers complete ownership of all contracts within the designated portfolio.Salary sacrifice options are also available.
