Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator for one of Sydney's Leading Roofing and Cladding Sub-Contract companies.As a Contracts Administrator, working at both our Head Office and our varied sites, you will be responsible for managing all contractual aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and optimizing financial outcomes.Working closely with project managers and other stakeholders, you will play a key role in procurement, subcontractor management, and cost control from commencement to completion.Key Responsibilities:Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.Prepare and review subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and variations.Assist in the procurement processes, including tendering, negotiation, and awarding contracts.Participate in project meetings throughout the project lifecycle.Manage all contract documentation for the project.Monitor subcontractor performance, progress claims, and variations.Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate commercial risks.Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts.Requirements:Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry.Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant legislation.Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.The ability to read and interpret construction plans and details.Proficiency in contract management software (Jobpac a plus), Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe.A strong understanding of OH&S policies and procedures including SWMS's.An equally strong understanding of Quality Documentation.Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills with a strong emphasis on time management.Proven experience working with Trades, Suppliers, Consultants and external third parties.Opportunity to work on prestigious, predominantly Tier One and Two projects.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a contracts administrator?How many years' experience do you have in the construction industry?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?
