As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting our operations team with efficient contract handling.
Job Duties
• Prepare, interpret, review, and manage contracts related to security services, ensuring they comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable agreements.
• Monitor the implementation and performance of contracts to ensure compliance with obligations, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Review and process contract variations, extensions, and renewals while managing associated documentation.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all contracts and correspondence, maintaining a clear audit trail.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential contract risks, advising on mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with legal counsel to ensure contracts adhere to corporate policies and legal regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide support and resolve contract-related issues.
• Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and potential issues for senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal requirements related to contract administration.
Skills and Experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, law, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in contract administration, procurement, or project management, ideally in the security or service industry.
• Ability to manage complex contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proven ability to negotiate terms and resolve disputes while maintaining strong relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage contracts, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Ability to assess risks and provide solutions for contract management.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
