Your next opportunity awaits at NTRO The Commercial Team is looking for a Contracts Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing the company's Contract Management administration and processes, as well as, reviewing and assisting in negotiating contracts.
Managing contract variations and ensuring that all NTRO contracts meet legal, commercial and corporate standards at all times is essential.
This role supports the daily operations of our project teams, and the overall commercial operations and decision making of the business.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks related to managing various contracts, clauses, financial agreements and timelines are followed and executed effectively for our clients and partners.
You will also be required to provide some assistance to meet the requirements of our directors and occasionally support board meeting preparation and ASIC compliance.
You are an approachable and pro-active professional who thrives on building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have a strong background in commercial contract administration systems and enjoy streamlining processes to improve efficiency.
This is a full-time role within the Commercial team and will be based in our Port Melbourne office.
Main duties of the role Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors and suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions are correctly documented and followed through Assist in the negotiation and creation of contracts and assist our project teams with contract reviews and variations as required Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all parties are kept informed of updates, project milestones and other ad-hoc items Assist to review potential risk involved with specific contract terms and the effect on project outcomes Understand and review current processes and systems suggesting the implementation of applicable systems for improvement About you Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Commerce or extensive commercial background 5+ years of post-qualification industry experience Strong understanding of contract management principles and practices Experience in managing or overseeing the entire contract lifecycle Experience with commercial and contract management on large complex engineering, infrastructure, or transport projects Strong comprehension of commercial and contractual law Excellent stakeholder and communication skills with an ability to negotiate and influence Solid understanding of commercial /financial risks and opportunities We offer the following and more to ensure we look after the ones who matter most, Our People: Opportunities to work with globally recognised experts, who offer one-on-one mentorship and support throughout your career.
