Contracts Administration (Administration & Office Support) As one of the largest private bus operators across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, CDC Victoria is in the business of "Linking People, Places and Communities".
With a fleet of 500 buses and coaches, we employ over 1000 staff from 80 diverse nations, and operate out of 8 depots – in Ballarat, Geelong, Mildura and Broken Hill, Oakleigh, Sunshine, Tullamarine and Wyndham, which incorporates our Head Office.
We serve the community by providing essential public transport and offering reliable charter services to schools, sporting groups and other recreational groups within Victoria.
The role: We are currently searching for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Network Performance team based in our head office in Truganina.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Contract Administrator will support the commercial interface with Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) contributing to a positive and constructive relationship with DTP. The role will also provide contract administration, management and reporting, analysis and assist in developing business cases with respect to business improvement initiatives.
In this role you will: Effectively monitor contract performance and advising on compliance with contractual obligations held with DTP in respect to contract reporting, contract administration and any commercial implications associated with the application of, or changes to, the DTP contract.Where required by DTP contractual obligations or initiatives, support the procurement of goods and services and the tendering and contract awarding process of procurement.Assist in the development of efficient processes to respond to the non-financial performance reporting requirements of the business and monitor trends across the business, in particular in relation to performance monitoring regimes of DTP contracts.Maintain close liaison with contractors and suppliers to protect CDC Victoria's interests and achieve high quality service delivery and performance.Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements: Experience in working within Victorian Government Procurement guidelines, practices and processes.Experience in contract management in a commercially focused environment highly regarded.The ability to work independently, and as part of a team.Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.Sound problem solving skills, project management, conceptual and consultative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to undertake investigative research to obtain, clarify and validate information which may require explanation and interpretation.Proficiency with computers, and comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and Power BI.Sound communication and presentation skills and report writing skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of management across a multiple location business.If you are ready to take on the next challenge in your career and would like to join a supportive and dynamic team, please send your application attention to Graeme Lilley by clicking 'apply now' below.
