About the role:
With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Northern Territory team to work on our various projects based in NT.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the implementation and administration of the contractual and financial processes for the project.
This role is a full-time Permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory with relocation assistance provided.
The role is well supported by project delivery teams and management with assistance from corporate legal and financial resourcing and provides for excellent career development.
Responsibilities:

Be a key member of the project leadership team and support the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget
Administer contract terms and conditions for projects
Prepare and negotiate project variations, extensions of time claims and other contractual claims in association with the project delivery team
Procurement of subcontractors including preparation of subcontractor scopes of works and subcontracts
Administration of subcontracts including payment claims and other contractual claims
Understanding and reporting on construction progress and productivity
Mentoring administration staff for the projects
Monthly reporting on key project indicators
Active management and administration of project delivery, administration and reporting software
Managing budgets, cost coding and forecasting and understanding and reporting early indicators for project outcomes
Collaborate to ensure that the Site Manager/Site Supervisor and project engineers are knowledgeable of the subcontractor(s) scope of works
Participate in, report on and lead where required, project meetings with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and management
Ensure project handover documentation is compiled progressively and professionally and client takeover experiences are positive and timely
Maintain positive relationships with customers and consultants to promote and identify project opportunities

About you:
To be successful in the role, you will need:

5 years proven experience in Contracts Administration roles
Diploma or Degree Qualified in Finance/administration or construction related course
Excellent knowledge of commercial construction contract management
A knowledge of construction scheduling and cash flow management
Excellent communication and numeracy skills
Experience in cost control, forecasting and monthly reporting
Hold a current Driver's license
