Contract Administrator

The Akron Group NT is a rapidly growing, innovative, market leading company in the government infrastructure asset maintenance sector in the Northern Territory.The RoleAlice Springs region - renovations, repairs and maintenance to public housing.The supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to:Managing all works related to the contract.Scheduling works and staff efficiently.Quality control of all works.Ensuring all contract KPI's are met.Tracking of all variations.Invoicing all works.Meeting reporting requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.Ensuring all plant, equipment and vehicles under the contract are well maintained.Liaising with sub-contractors to obtain the most competitive prices, issuing sub contract orders and co-ordinating works to be completed.Control of in-house stock and keeping to budgets.Liaise with client to keep them updated with the progress of works.Attend monthly contractor meetings with the client.Reporting to Division Manager and Operations Manager.Skills/ExperienceHave a minimum of 1 year's experience in the construction industry.Be a self-starter capable of working without direction or micro-management.Be able to multi-task effectively.Be well presented and an effective communicator.Possess excellent commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills.Indigenous applicants encouraged to apply.
