The Role
Working closely with a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, technically challenging, and fast-paced design-and-construct projects. As a Contract Administrator, you will take responsibility for managing subcontract and head contract administration, procurement, and providing strategic input on program, design, constructibility, and quality considerations.
With a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors, this role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise while being exposed to advanced construction techniques and practices.
Skills and Requirements Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.Experience: Demonstrated experience with major building trades and procurement processes, particularly on design-and-construct projects, gained while working with reputable building contractors.Financial Acumen: Proven ability to prepare cost forecasts, analyse cash flow, and monitor financial outcomes on significant projects.Contract Expertise: Skilled in assessing subcontractor variations, preparing head contract variations, and managing commercial and legal aspects of contracts.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with construction-specific acts, codes, and regulations, including the Building Code of Australia, Security of Payments Act, and Work Health & Safety Act.Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to working with clients and subcontractors.Culture & Benefits
