Contract Administrator – Commercial Construction & Fit OutThe CompanyTier 3 contractor specialising in commercial construction and fit outs. Projects range in value from $250k - $10m – sweet spot $250k – 2m. $15m turnover business. Need a CA to add to the team, must have good commercial and contracts knowledge, good experience with lump sum/payments, D&C/contracts, budgeting, forecasts, and scope of works.
The Position – Contract Administrator Preparation of subcontractor tender packages, scope of works, contract documentation and procurement schedulesPreparation of head contract progress claimsSubmission and evaluation of variationsManaging both upstream and downstream with a focus on managing downstreamHead contract administrationPrepare end of monthly costs reports for presentation to the Construction ManagerAdminister RFIs to clients and consultantsAssisting Project Manager with daily operationsMaintaining project document controlBuild relationships and negotiate with suppliersSkills and ExperienceMinimum 3-4 years' experience as a Contract AdministratorStrong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAustralian working rights
SalaryCirca $125k – 135k
