Contract Administrator
to join our family-focused team.Our small team of industry experts enables us to put more focus on delivering high quality, one-off designs for our clients that range in value from $350k to $5m, the majority of which are all in the Brisbane CBD and inner fringe.Working closely with our Estimator and Construction Manager, you will need to be an enthusiastic team player with a can-do positive attitude who is willing to utilise your experience and eagerness to build a wide range of skills to help deliver our projects on time and within budget.What we are looking for
A Contract Administrator, ideally with 3-5 years' experience and a strong track record of working in the commercial fitout sector, delivering projects for institutional clients.Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of construction contract terms and conditions, and subcontractor agreement terms and conditions.Experience in establishing scope of work and services documentation and compiling trade packages that correlate with either project requirements or trade capacity.Prior experience in both managing and administering project budgets, head contract variations, and assessing subcontractor variations and progress claims.Ability to converse with confidence (both written and verbal), with all stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers, client representatives, and your peers. Ability to have a robust conversation and confidence to negotiate with vendors is a must.Outstanding attention to detail and time management skills are critical to ensure success in the role, along with the ability to problem solve and plan ahead to mitigate delivery risk.A positive, proactive and passionate individual eager to learn and succeed and thrive in an environment where your contributions are recognised and rewarded.Experience in using Procore, Smartsheet and Buildpass would be advantageous; however, proficient use in all Microsoft applications is mandatory.If you can say yes to these, then maybe we should talk.Next Steps
