About the Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Innovation & Improvement and working closely with all business units, local and overseas capability partners, the Continuous Improvement Manager is accountable for working across the ASC business to bring positive, effective and resilient change and continuous improvement to the business.
This role is available in either Osborne SA, or Henderson WA.
Responsibilities Develop and execute ASC's continuous improvement strategy, ensuring its alignment to the overall business strategy.
Set clear, and actionable goals to ensure delivery of strategic objectives within continuous improvement.
Ensure that areas of responsibility identify and implement best practices and meet industry leading standards and expectations.
Effectively manage, track, report and reallocate budget as necessary to ensure optimised allocation across continuous improvement.
Identify potential risks to continuous improvement and develop mitigation strategies for these, including developing programs and initiatives which address concerns proactively.
About you  Tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations, project management or related discipline Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role in operations, engineering, or capability leadership role (or similar), preferably in a similar industry.
Demonstrated experience in establishing, managing or significantly contributing to continuous improvement programs and driving a culture of continuous improvement within a complex organisation.
Demonstrated project planning and management experience (formal qualifications preferred).
Strong understanding of shipbuilding / defence sector, including knowledge of current trends, practices, technologies, and regulatory environment.
Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a Baseline level.
Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
