In this newly created role, reporting directly to the NPD & Projects Manager , you will manage multiple high-impact projects aimed at improving operational consistency and efficiency. Working closely with state and regional teams, this role is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements, developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, cost reduction, manufacturing waste elimination, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation utilising Lean manufacturing principles.

Role can be based in Adelaide or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage process improvement projects that enhance productivity, standardise operations, and streamline logistics. Develop and implement systems that optimise processes and improve overall operational performance. Coordinate NPD and Projects, developing and maintaining timelines, milestones, reports and deliverables. Create consistency in reporting and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement across the business. Lead the deployment of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma, to optimise processes end to end through our value stream. Evaluate current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), assess process performance, and drive decision-making. Support our plant operations team and encourage a culture of continuous improvement through operator engagement. Assist the NPD and Projects Manager with oversight of capital projects to ensure successful implementation. Assist in driving and creating a sustainability program for Sanector. Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to roll out CI initiatives, including the delivery of a preventative maintenance framework and system. What you will need: A bachelor's degree in operations management, business, logistics, or a related field. (Desirable but not essential) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement. Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Proven ability to lead and influence teams, manage projects, and drive organisational change. Personal effectiveness & interaction – self-manages and demonstrates diplomacy when dealing with difficult people or colleagues from different cultures. Results Orientation & Execution – strong planning, organising and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a sense of urgency. Flexible - reacts to change in a positive manner, becoming a role model to peers and colleagues when faced with internal change. Good understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
