What does the job look like? The Continuous Improvement Analyst is responsible for the continuous improvement of transactional finance activities across the enterprise. Key aspects of the role will be optimising the billing of RCTI function in line with new contracts and collaborating with our Internal Stakeholders ensuring best in class practices are followed when invoicing.
The Role will also partner with Business units to become the SME on onboarding Subcontractors for new, existing, or growing contracts. The Continuous Improvement Analyst will also become the key stakeholder within Shared Services who will draw up & distribute the Weekly and Monthly reporting from Group Finance.
Key areas:
Provide concise and accurate feedback to internal stakeholders on how to improve invoicing processes. Review current revenue recognition policies/procedures and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and timeliness of issuing invoices. Ensure that there are no revenue Leakage through review of Transport management. Own Retrospective reporting for Weekly & Monthly results, this includes – Weekly Collection Report, Weekly Accrued Revenue Report, Board Reporting, Monthly GR/IR Reporting, Subcontractor Reporting, and any other report that business requires. Support GM Shared Service on any project that Shared Services are working on. Becoming 2ic on Projects for the Shared Services Team. Support OTC and AP & Expense Managers with their teams' projects and documenting current processes. Provide necessary support to the BU Finance teams with respect to transactional Finance activities, data compilation analysis and any ad hoc project tasks. Are you the one? At least five years' experience in a Project Management, Commercial, Revenue Accounting, Cost Accounting process for a large dynamic organisation Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and revenue regulations.
