Job Description: This position plays a key role in enhancing continuity planning and crisis management capabilities.
Responsibilities will include providing analytic support in continuity planning, training, exercise development and execution, strategy development, readiness reporting, and crisis management support.
Maintains a robust and integrated continuity program that safeguards essential functions and enhances response and recovery capabilities during emergencies.
Coordinate with the Customer and international partners to support various activities that address continual operation in the event of an emergency situation, disaster recovery, or incident management.Work with the team to ensure all perspective support entities are involved in the exercises.Document events and actions.Develop lessons learned.Develop/Update any Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Response Procedures (ERPs), etc.Provide documentation of the events and outcomes to the Government at the conclusion.Other duties as assigned.Basic Job Requirements: Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.Other Job Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen.A Bachelor's Degree or higher.Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience, defined as technical and managerial experience associated with continuity at a federal agency with an established continuity program, continuity of government, mission assurance, and/or readiness program or other programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.Have and maintain appropriate education and training for the role to include FEMA courses such as IS-100, 200, 300, 700, and 800.
IS-400 and the Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certification are highly recommended but not required.Possess a TS//SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.As a condition of employment, the applicant and all dependent family members must successfully undergo a medical and behavioral health evaluation.Requisition Number: 146901BR
