The organisation also delivers Bibles, church materials, and other resources to communities with limited access to Christian teaching and worship services.We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Continuing Airworthiness Employee to join our team at Mission Aviation Fellowship. As the Maintenance Watch, Reliability, and ICA's specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of aircraft. This role is based in our Cairns Support Office.Your main task will involve supervising and coordinating maintenance watch activities for all our aircraft. Your role will entail overseeing aircraft defect rectifications within MAF maintenance and airworthiness management software and the QSS reporting system. Paying close attention to detail and having a deep understanding of regulatory standards will be essential for ensuring airworthiness and adherence to regulations.Along with ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft, your responsibilities will include overseeing the management and recording of aircraft defect rectifications in the MAF maintenance and airworthiness management software and QSS reporting system. This involves analysing maintenance data to pinpoint potential areas for enhancement. Collaborating closely with our maintenance team, you will devise proactive strategies to avoid aircraft delays or issues. Your capacity to think critically and base decisions on data will be crucial in this position.Ensuring timely assessments of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA's) for the fleet is a key responsibility. Collaborating with the engineering team to document and update maintenance procedures accurately is crucial.
