We're filling a new role in our Marketing & Fundraising team The Content Strategist will be a key member of Wesley Mission's Marketing & Fundraising team.
The incumbent will input to content strategies and drive their execution, while also playing a hands-on role in the creation of content and communications that help to drive brand awareness, audience and stakeholder engagement, and organisational performance.
The role applies strong communication and content creation abilities to plan, create and optimise impactful and high-performing content for all channels and platforms from in-person to physical, print and digital.
Who we're looking for We are looking for an experienced content strategist who is skilled in planning and creating content and communications.
The role requires someone with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, who can meet the following key requirements: Up-to-date knowledge of principles and best practice in content creation and content marketing, including strong understanding of digital platforms Up-to-date knowledge of principles and best practice in external and internal communication Excellent content ideation skills and the ability to write and create content for multiple purposes (e.g.
to inform, engage, inspire, prompt action) and channels/platforms Exceptional proofreading skills and ability to consistently apply the Australian Style Guide Ability to communicate complex concepts and communicate in clear and user-focused language Experience creating and optimising content for performance across channels, and making data-driven decisions about content development and optimisation Skills in interviewing and engaging with people from a wide range of experiences and backgrounds Ability to respond to briefs and engage with team members and stakeholders to achieve outcomes Experience working in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines across simultaneous projects and campaigns For details about the role and how to apply, see the full position description linked below Apply now To apply, submit your CV and a cover letter that briefly summarises your key strengths and experience related to the role.
