We are now searching for a Content Production Assistant to join our Editorial team. In this role you will learn many new skills while assisting in the production and publication of finance and lifestyle content on Canstar.com.au read by millions of readers each year.  This is an opportunity to learn from an ambitious and respected team, while picking up insider tips you can apply to your own money. You'll also add to your swag of skills and abilities with a company that invests in the future of its people.  What you will be doing Assist in the production and publication of content on the Canstar website through our content management system (CMS), such as articles, results of our Star Ratings and Awards, and content for our newsletters and social media channels Use a variety of tools to source and optimise images for publication Use data visualisation tools to assist in the enhancement of our content Apply Search Engine Optimisation techniques to our content, with the support of our in-house team of SEO specialists Write and maintain a range of product and results pages, in partnership with our senior journalists where necessary  What you will need to bring to the role An applicable university degree or specialised training course Training in, or demonstrable experience in, writing online content Experience working with a content management system (ideally Wordpress) Basic knowledge of, or interest in, SEO best practice  Experience with the Google Suite (GDocs, Sheets, Gmail, etc), or the ability to rapidly learn this Experience in online content production is beneficial, but not essential  A good eye for visual design and engaging imagery, as well as an ability to use image production software (or the ability to learn) A passion for new media, particularly social media, mobile, video and search trends The perks Birthday leave Subsidised massages Subsidised corporate gym membership Monthly social club Employee Assistance Program How to apply Submit a cover letter (or a short video) briefly outlining your skills and experience.
