The Office is tasked with a significant responsibility: bringing together a holistic, connected system for early childhood development across South Australia, with the goal of reducing the rate of children entering school developmentally vulnerable. Critical to this is the roll-out of universal 3-year-old preschool from 2026, giving every child access to 2 years of teacher-led, play-based early learning before school.
About this role: The Content Producer will play a pivotal role in creating and executing content that aligns with the Office's company objectives and target audiences' interests.
This role involves delivering high-quality creative services, with a focus on the launch of quality 3-year-old preschool from 2026. The Content Producer will be responsible for producing a range of communication materials, including signage, publications (such as factsheets and flyers), videos, graphics, and digital content. The position requires strong graphic design expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment. Additionally, the role demands proficiency in both digital and print media, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder engagement to drive communication objectives forward.
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality graphic design advice, services, and support for departmental initiatives and programs across a range of media to enable the effective, efficient, and consistent visual communication of information.Prepare a diverse range of content and design products including signage, publications, documents, online content, templates, illustrations, graphics, photography, video compilations, animations, and creative solutions to assist the Office in meeting communications objectives.Provide a design consultancy service to the office to assist with resolving communications challenges through the provision of graphic design recommendations that are relevant, effective, and understood by the audience.About you: This exciting opportunity offers the chance to create impactful communications that support the rollout of 3-year-old preschool from 2026. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who brings:
Graphic design expertise: Demonstrated graphic design skills using software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Experience in designing creative communications material, including infographics.Digital and print media: Proficiency in designing for both digital and print media, including creating engaging content and digital assets suitable for use across multiple platforms such as websites, social media, and digital video.Attention to detail: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work with a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all design outputs.Role benefits: The successful candidate will:

Additional Note: This is a full-time 2-year long term contract role (1.0 FTE) with potential to be made ongoing.
Remuneration: ASO4 - $76,561 - $80,256 (1.0 FTE) per annum, plus superannuation.

Special Conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every 5 years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN – EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every 3 years.
