Job DescriptionFragomen is seeking a Content Manager to join our dynamic and talented Marketing & Business Development Team in Asia Pacific.
Members of this team serve as strategic business advisors to the firm's partners and immigration professionals and are respected for their proactive guidance, resilience dedication and work ethic.In this position, you will work with a close knit, collaborative and supportive team to drive proposals, pitches and other content marketing projects forward across the Asia Pacific region and the worldwide Fragomen organization.
You will be responsible for writing and project managing major RFPs, proposals and presentations for the APAC region maintaining the CRM database for the opportunities you lead, developing website content for regional locations, and assists the wider Marketing & Business Development team with a range of projects in an extremely fast-paced environment.You will directly support the marketing and business development efforts of the preeminent thought leaders in immigration around the world, and work at a firm that is focused on revolutionizing the immigration industry through innovation.
This role allows for meaningful engagement and collaboration with client account teams and corporate stakeholders throughout the worldwide firm, including senior leaders.The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, conscientious and extremely proactive self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and 5-10 years of experience managing RFPs, proposals and pitches, or in a related marketing, business development or communications role.
In addition, the candidate should have a strong understanding of the unique nuances, cultural dynamics and market trends within the Asia Pacific to craft tailored and competitive proposals.RESPONSIBILITIESDrive the end-to-end management and preparation of client-focused, high quality proposals, capabilities statements, RFP responses and pitch presentations that are consistent with firm messaging and tailored to each opportunityCoordinate the flow of information from various internal contributors to meet all proposal and pitch milestones and deadlinesAbility to work on multiple projects concurrently is a mustUnderstand the unique requirements of each RFP and lead calls with the wider pitch team to determine opportunity background, key themes and strategies, and define deliverablesWork closely with the wider pitch team and visual design team to develop on-brand presentation materials including customized print collateral and PowerPoint presentationsConfidently coach client-facing presentation team during pitch practice sessionsPossess ability to quickly develop a strong working knowledge of the firm, its clients, potential targets and their industry sectors, especially within the APAC regionCompile and organize proposal content based on certain criteria; maintain and update proposal and RFP content in web-based systemDraft marketing copy including proposals that conform to prescribed style and formattingSynthesize and present data and processes in multiple formats including text, charts, diagrams, etc.Demonstrate cross-cultural communication skills and ability to interface with internal clients in Fragomen offices within the region and worldwideProvide additional support to wider Marketing & Business Development department, as neededQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, English or a related field5-10 years of relevant marketing experience, particularly as a proposal or pitch coordinator or in a related roleSolid writing, editing and proofreading skills in English.
The ability to read and write Chinese Mandarin or other languages would be advantageousSignificant experience working on RFPs and proposalsExperience leading and directing teams of various levels, including senior Partners and leadersSuperior project management skills as well as excellent organizational skillsStrong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations requiring adherence to tight deadlinesClient service oriented with the aptitude to address internal clients' needs in a professional and courteous mannerHighly analytical, organized and detail-orientedPresent ideas in clear, logical and concise formatStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with InDesign a plusAble to collaborate, excel and deliver outcomes in a team environmentCapable of learning and understanding an APAC audience and producing targeted contentIndependently driven, resourceful, proactive and self-motivated with a "make it happen" mindset and excellent interpersonal skillsThis position requires a very high energy level and flexibility with respect to overtimeExperience in a legal or other professional services firm is a plus
