Content Designer (Remote)

We're searching for an experienced Content Designer to join our Product Experience team, initially on a 12 month contract.
This role is part of our global Product Experience team that works closely with our Product teams to help create intuitive experiences across Moodle's product suite. With the pace of Moodle, no two days will ever be the same! But most days will involve a mix of:
Working closely with the Product Managers and UX Designers to develop product experiences and design content that aligns with Moodle's voice, style and tone at every step of the user journey.Working with the Experience Design Manager and Content Designer to further embed the content design practice in the work we do.Participating in UX research activities and the user testing process to gain insights from users and validate content decisions.Creating and maintaining useful resources that help our teams and the Community create consistent, user-centred experiences.Advocating for customer-centred design and development with our Product teams, championing adherence to our Discovery and Design process.This role can work from anywhere in Australia on a fixed term contract (or even the greater APAC region as a contractor), and we are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Passion for, and experience in delivering excellent user experiences through content design.Experience establishing and driving a new content design practice at a large scale software company.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., designers, developers, product managers).Ability to quickly build rapport with and influence the stakeholders and teams you work with.Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable content solutions.Ability to show empathy and understanding for the end-user needs.Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong eye for detail.Ability to self-motivate and organise your own workload.Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) with the ability to quickly and effectively build strong relationships, trust and credibility with stakeholders.Previous experience with content creation for global, multilingual audiences would be a bonus (but not essential).Learn more about your new workplace… Moodle is the world's most trusted online learning solution, with a growing ecosystem of products and services, including Moodle Workplace, Moodle App, MoodleCloud, and more.
