Key Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and publish web content that supports Australian businesses in exporting their products and services.
Collaborate with diverse subject matter experts to produce accurate, relevant, and engaging content.
Simplify complex information into accessible, clear language for a wide audience.
Ensure content adheres to established content standards, including the content playbook and government style manual.
Work as part of a fast-paced, agile team to deliver content and iterate based on user feedback.
Conduct user testing and make data-driven improvements to content based on performance analytics.
Advocate for good content design practices and communicate these principles to stakeholders and team members.
Key Selection Criteria:
Essential Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in creating and managing user-centred content for websites, ideally with a focus on Australian business audiences.
Demonstrated ability to create content that is findable, useful, and accessible.
Proven experience in optimizing content for search engines (SEO).
Experience using analytics tools to gather user insights and measure content performance.
A solid track record of testing content with real users and iterating based on feedback.
Strong communication and advocacy skills, with experience working alongside subject matter experts to co-create content.
Desirable Experience:
Experience designing and creating content for government websites.
A background in user experience (UX), including interaction design skills.
