6+6 Month Federal Government Contract Baseline clearance required NSW or ACT hybrid office arrangement Our Federal Government Client is looking for a Content Designer to join the Go Global Toolkit team in the Digital Products and Platforms Branch.
The Content Designer will work in a multi-disciplinary team to create engaging web content for the Go Global Toolkit website and new authenticated digital services to help promote Australian business products overseas.
The Content Designer is responsible for: Creating, editing and publishing web content to help Australian businesses export their products and services Collaborating and negotiating diverse subject matter experts to create content Turning complex information into accessible content.
Ensuring content meets Go Global Toolkit content playbook standards and Australian Government style manual standards.
Working effectively in a fast-paced agile team Testing content with real users and iterate it based on their feedback.
Analysing and measuring content performance and making improvements.
Communicating the principles of good content design to your team and stakeholders.
Criteria: The Content Designer will have a minimum of 4 years' experience: Creating and managing user-centred content for websites (preferably for an Australian business audience).
Creating content that is findable, useful and accessible.
Creating content that is optimised for search engines.
Using analytics tools to gather user insights and measure content performance (including SEO).
Testing content with real users and iterating it based on their feedback Demonstrating excellent communication and advocacy skills when working with subject matter experts to co-create content.
Experience designing and creating content for government websites.
A strong user experience (UX) background, including interaction design skills.
