We are the peak body for the Australian union movement, and we're looking for a passionate content creator to join our Digital Communications Team.
As the Content Creator (Video) you will play an important role in developing and executing engaging and resonant content across various social video platforms. This role will draw on creativity, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to leverage our online presence and support the ACTU's campaign and growth objectives.
From scripting, filming, editing and featuring in videos to managing influencers and to create compelling video content, this role will be an integral part of our digital communications team.
Key responsibilities Conceptualise, produce and feature in video content across a range of ACTU social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).Manage relationships with influencers and other external content creator.Film and record ACTU events as required. Be across trends and new techniques in the social video space. Use digital metrics and research tools to aid in producing effective content and report on content effectiveness. Be a part of the Digital Communications Team and contribute skills in other parts of the team as required. Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience managing video-based social media channels (TikTok preferred). Keen eye for trends across social media platforms, and an enthusiasm for vertical video. Proficient using Adobe Premier Pro or similar video editing software. Skills and understanding in utilising video equipment (microphones, DSLR cameras, lighting).Knowledge of various digital metrics and using them to make data-driven content decisions. The ACTU will offer the successful candidate an annual salary in the range of $93,959 - $104,283 dependant on skills and experience, along with an additional 15% superannuation, annual leave loading, working from home opportunities and generous leave arrangements (including up to 5 additional days of annual leave).
