About the Role:
Reporting to the Logistics Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will:
Ensure container availability to meet forecasted cargo demand and inform Assistant Logistics Manager of any equipment shortages.
Monitor depot performance including turn times, equipment repairs and idle containers.
Provide management of general administration and reporting functions undertaken by the logistics controller.
Provide daily management of depots by monitoring available stock versus bookings.
Ensure the Equipment Management System accurately reflects the status and location of containers.
Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Tertiary qualification in relevant field.
At least 1-year previous experience in the Logistics industry.
Good computer skills with excellent understanding of Excel.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude.
Strong organisational and administration skills.
