Container Crane Technician Mechanical

PortxGroup Australia is expanding its Container Crane Maintenance team and we're looking for experienced Mechanical Technician to join us.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance repairs and modifications on Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes (RMG), Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (RTG), Spreaders and other plant and equipment.Perform regular maintenance inspections of cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment.Rebuild, replace or repair major equipment components, assemblies and systems.Maintain and update records of work performed on equipment in order to track service history.Correct unsafe conditions and housekeeping problems in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.Operate tools, equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.Respond to work requests in a timely manner as per assigned KPIs.About YouAbility to read and understand hydraulic drawings and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.Strong communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to lead a team of Mechanical technicians.A desire to learn and be trained for potential opportunities to work on international projects.Must be available to work overtime and travel to customer sites if required.PortxGroup offers an attractive work environment together with a competitive salary package and an opportunity to train and work on international projects.
