This is a crucial role supporting various aspects of our quality administrative processes including Consumer contact. This position requires a combination of administrative skills, customer service skills and strong attention to detail to ensure consumer and quality complaints are being addressed in a timely manner that protects the reputation of Diageo Australia.

What does this role look like for you? Responsibility for facilitating the correct collection and entry of data from consumers into a relevant database. Part of the Customer Service Team; Help in phone coverage if required, engaging team for input on new/changes in processes for Consumer Care. Proactively review and ensure process/systems to maintain the integrity of Service to internal and external customers. Ensure that a quality of merchandise is always on hand for consumers. Also to ensure that all relevant paraphernalia is available e.g. merchandise catalogues. To provide detailed reports to the business on a monthly basis on Consumer Complaints and Enquiries. Reporting for Audit and compliance purposes. Trending and monitoring of complaint data to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure any information received which could impact on a promotion or the sale of a product is escalated when necessary to the Marketing Brand Team, Quality Control and Customer Service Manager. Develop commercial relationships in order to further understand customer strategies and plans. Facilitate collaborative working and resolve areas of potential conflict. Provides excellence in customer relationship service to the consumer relating to inquiries and concerns as well as turnaround times for issue resolution. What Will you bring to the table? Previous experience within a FMCG company preferred. Customer/Consumer focused career background preferred. PC and MS Office application ability, preferable Excel. Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong influencing and communication skills to various internal and external stakeholders. Composure and resilience in dealing with difficult customers or situations. Can comfortably manage commercially sensitive information to maintain business and brand integrity and reputation.
