The Health in Partnership Program at MDHS has been established to support the organisational development and implementation of the MDHS Consumer and Community Participation Framework. The framework outlines how MDHS will engage with and support consumers and community members to partner with our health service with the aim of improving service delivery for members of the Maryborough community. The program supports consumer involvement in numerous activities relating to governance systems and processes as well as the review and design of services. The Consumer and Community Engagement Partner will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the Health in Partnership Program. A significant element of the role will be the recruitment and support for consumers participating in the Health in Partnership program, and increasing the awareness of the importance of consumer involvement in organisational governance, planning and design.
