About the Role The Consumer Business Manager at Ballpark is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of the SEN Teams' consumer business.
This role focuses on three key areas: membership, ticketing, and merchandise.
The Consumer Business Manager ensures that all consumer-related activities are strategically aligned with the organisation's goals, maximising revenue and enhancing the fan experience.
This role will be instrumental in developing comprehensive strategies to drive membership growth, optimise ticket sales, and boost merchandise revenue.
Key Responsibilities: Membership Strategy and Management Membership Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the SEN Teams' membership base, including targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and member retention initiatives.
Member Engagement: Design and execute programs to engage and retain members, providing exclusive content, special offers, and personalised communication.
Data Analysis: Analyse membership data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
Membership Services: Oversee exceptional customer service to members, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the overall member experience.
Member Events: Plan and execute exclusive events for members to enhance their connection with the team.
Feedback Collection: Implement systems to collect and analyse member feedback, continuously improving the membership offering.
Membership Renewals: Develop and implement strategies to maximise membership renewals, including personalised communication and special renewal incentives.
Ticketing Strategy and Management Ticket Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive ticket sales strategies to maximise revenue and attendance, including dynamic pricing models, early bird offers, and group discounts.
Pricing and Promotions: Implement dynamic pricing models and promotional offers to attract diverse audiences and fill seats.
Sales Channels Management: Manage all ticket sales channels, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly purchasing experience.
Event Coordination: Coordinate with event and game day staff to ensure smooth ticketing operations, including access control and customer service.
Ticket Packages: Develop and market attractive ticket packages and bundles.
Customer Outreach: Conduct outreach campaigns to past ticket purchasers, promoting upcoming events.
Sales Reporting: Generate and analyse detailed sales reports to monitor performance and adjust strategies.
Merchandise Strategy and Management Merchandise Planning: Develop and implement merchandise strategies to increase sales, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
Sales Channels Expansion: Expand merchandise sales channels, including online stores, on-site retail locations, and third-party retailers.
Product Development: Collaborate with designers and suppliers to create unique and high-quality merchandise.
Marketing and Promotions: Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote merchandise.
Inventory Management: Implement efficient inventory management systems.
Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with merchandise vendors.
Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse merchandise sales performance, informing future product development and promotional strategies.
Administrative Support Proposal Development: Assist in developing internal proposals for consumer business initiatives.
Contract Management: Draft and review contracts with vendors and suppliers.
Invoicing and Payments: Manage invoicing and follow up on payments.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of consumer business activities.
Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking and managing budgets for consumer business activities.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on consumer business performance.
Compliance: Ensure all consumer business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
Skills and Qualifications Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients, team members, and vendors.
Basic understanding of invoicing and payment follow-up processes, with experience in financial record-keeping.
Experience in proposal building and obtaining quotes from vendors and suppliers.
Ability to draft and review contracts with attention to detail.
Familiarity with handling client purchase requests and managing inventory to meet business needs.
Experience Required Proven experience in consumer business management, focusing on membership, ticketing, and merchandise.
Strong portfolio of successful projects and initiatives in a similar role.
Background in data analysis and strategic planning.
