Role Overview:
As our Consumer Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth. Your deep understanding of the sector, particularly with Stationery & Repair products range, and your ability to connect with customers will be key in achieving our strategic goals. You'll work closely with a supportive team and lead exciting projects that shape the future of our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the key account base. Execute account strategies based on anticipated business needs. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and project deliverables. Generate and evaluate new product ideas and suggestions. Perform training and product demos as required. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Represent Bostik at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. What We're Looking For:
At least 2 to 3-year experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within the FMCG or manufacturing industry. Forecast and track account metrics. Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with consumer team to ensure growth attainment. A proven track record of converting prospects into profitable new business. Undertake research to identify and create new business opportunities. Own and administer a pipeline with focus to a consistent and methodical contact style. Possess the 'Hunter' mentality and understand the skills and qualities essential for driving proactive sales success in a competitive environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building and nurturing customer relationships. Ability to do domestic travel. A strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail. A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. A passion for creating positive customer experiences and achieving outstanding results. Exposure to SAP and Salesforce is desirable but not required as training will be provided. Why Join Us?
