We currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Consulting Manager to join our Smart Infrastructure team. The purpose of the role is to manage portfolio consulting activities for energy systems in order to support sales and to help customers exploiting advantages of Siemens' products more effectively. Reporting to the Country Business Unit Head, the Consulting Manager will have the unique opportunity to drive the development and transformation of power systems, globally. As a trusted advisor within a global business, you will actively define and implement planning solutions and projects that create value to the customer as well as the society, globally. Key responsibilities: • Lead and manage a group of expert Consultants on Siemens PTI Australia with direct staff responsibility • Guide and support the development and execution of our international consulting business • Execute, manage and support customer projects on planning and development • Lead national and international project teams • Contribute with your expert knowledge in fields such as integration of renewables, demand/supply scenarios and integrated energy systems • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy and consulting communities • Identify new business opportunities • Engage in sales and marketing of our portfolio • Focus on customer value, driving the business and building long-term relationships with existing and new stakeholders You will have the following: • Technical expertise as well as a passion for power system planning • Relevant experience in system modelling and simulation • Strong data management and analysis skills • PSSE, PSSSINCAL or similar experience • Leadership experience, demonstrating success in managing a team of experts • A strong business acumen combined with strategic thinking • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering In return, we offer a rewarding team environment, a commitment to your ongoing learning and development, and an attractive salary package.
