About the role January 2025 Start AGSVA Security Clearance Essential Canberra Location We are seeking an exceptional Consulting Director with an AGSVA security clearance to be a significant member of our dynamic and successful Consulting team.
As an experienced Management and Strategy Consulting professional, you will have a proven background in delivering above the line consulting services to the Australian Federal Government.
To be successful for this role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively across a variety of clients, keen attention to detail and a drive to deliver high-quality and innovative outcomes.
About you Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Provide strategic consulting services and guidance to business and technology executives Lead small teams of experienced consultants to deliver high value work across industry segments Work collaboratively with clients to identify business issues and their root causes and/or clarify strategic and operational challenges Develop strategy plans, business cases, reports, strategic communication products, and solutions to achieve desired client outcomes Deliver presentations and facilitate workshops for executive and non-executive staff that clearly and concisely highlight key findings and recommendations Strive for quality business outcomes in complex client environments Provide reviews over all parts of the project lifecycle (strategy, design, implementation, and post-implementation) Undertake business analysis, commercial review, cost modelling and advice Provide oversight and leadership of government change programs.
Requirements: An AGSVA Security Clearance or be an Australian Citizen who can obtain a clearance is essential.
Minimum 10 years experience in consulting, preferably in strategy consulting Demonstrated ability to analyse and apply critical thinking to complex business issues and/ or opportunities An ability to articulate and justify the need for change and recommend solutions to for targeted business outcomes and measurable improvements Strong work ethic and ability to deliver both individual and team projects Professional and polite demeanour Ability to develop compelling business cases and various documentation Well-developed presentation and communications skills Strong ability to manage time commitments across multiple client engagements Demonstrated understanding and track record of consulting in the Federal Government environment A consulting background from the Big 4 would be highly regarded.
