What's in it for you? As our Tax Policy Consultant, you'll get unique exposure to the tax leadership team's strategic initiatives allowing you to develop a wealth of deep tax technical knowledge. Your key responsibilities include the tracking of Australian and global tax policy developments, research and analysis and management of tax knowledge and communications.
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to identify client service opportunities and potential risks related to tax policies.Closely follow various international tax policy reform projects undertaken by foreign jurisdictions or multilateral organisations (e.g. OECD BEPS projects) which impacts Australia.Conduct thorough tax technical research through various internal and external resources (e.g. Commonwealth and State Government, ATO and other revenue authorities, courts, media etc) and tools to prepare useful information for using in various forms of external client or internal communications, reports, presentations and knowledge enhancement materials.Prepare internal training materials for the firm and resolve queries and issues faced by the tax practice.What we're looking for Here's our 'wish list' but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
