Great things start here
We're there for you. We take our responsibility to the community and beyond seriously. Our people, as diverse as the communities we're part of, inspire and aspire to find new ways to provide exceptional experiences for people across our products and services.
At RACV, we believe that maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace is an important element in our continued success. We want our people to feel welcome, supported and appreciated for who they are and what they bring to our business.
About the OpportunityAs the Consultant for Strategy and Insights, you will contribute to the development and shaping of analysis-driven strategies for the Membership Division, and the wider business that deliver the goals described in the corporate strategy, and departmental business plans. Your role will also be to support the implementation of agreed strategies and actions and assist with their transition into Business as Usual by engaging with Membership Division and the broader RACV business.
Responsibilities
Interrogating and transforming internal and external data into compelling and commercially viable business cases that align with enterprise and departmental goals.
Retain a cross-portfolio/channel perspective to drive member-led and customer-led initiatives (membership, product holdings, member/customer engagement, and data).
Support the development and commercialisation of enterprise-level frameworks across the business including segmentation, value propositions, performance metrics, member/customer economics and lifetime value.
Assist with the creation, delivery and socialisation of regular reports that communicate the "what" and the "why" of RACV's performance vs KPI's, and that quantify the change in performance resultant from strategies and actions implemented.
Build and maintain external benchmarks that allow the performance of RACV's strategies to be compared to underlying market drivers and competitors.
Document all work to a standard that allows other team members to exchange responsibilities with minimum handover requirements and/or loss of momentum, and that supports post-completion reviews identifying new best practices and areas for improvement.
What you'll need to be successful
3-5 years' experience in data-led strategy development and customer analytics in a consulting or blue-chip corporate environment.
Tertiary qualification in relevant business discipline such as commerce, marketing, economics etc. Masters or postgraduate desirable.
Hands-on ability to manipulate, analyse, align and synthesize data into insight across multiple data sources (internal databases, external databases, qualitative & quantitative customer research).
Strong collaboration and influencing skills with senior audiences.
Participated in strategic projects, from scoping through to execution, in an analysis and insight focused role.
