DEPARTMENT: Busy birthing suite (approx.
650 deliveries p.a.)
and outpatient clinics (including ANC, Gynaecology, High Risk Obstetrics, and Colposcopy)Surgical services including minimally invasive, open, and laparoscopic surgeryJMO support (Accredited Registrar +/- Rural Generalists, SRMO, and RMO)Links to a well-established Department of Paediatrics with Special Care NurseryClose relationship with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health with teaching students in Year 3 – 5 of the Joint Medical Program.

Skills & Qualifications required: A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.Evidence of being a medical expert, demonstrated by recent and comprehensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.Evidence of being a scholar, maintains medical professional development and has the ability to assist other staff, including trainees in the acquisition and development of knowledge.Evidence of being a skilled communicator, including both oral and written skills, communicating with patients, students, other health professionals, and the public.Benefits: The ability to leave your mark on an O&G department in an idyllic location.Whilst ensuring work-life balance and optimal wellbeing so you enjoy the beautiful region.Relocation assistance and supportWork/life balanceHow do I Apply:
