We are looking for either Consultants (minimum of one year of relevant experience – ideally professional services) or Senior Consultants (minimum of two years of relevant experience with at least one year of professional services experience) to join our Melbourne team (applicants for our Sydney and Canberra offices will also be considered).
To give some insights, our consulting personnel typically work in project teams of 3-4 people and across multiple projects simultaneously: at the Consultant level, you will play an active role in supporting the team to successfully deliver client projects by completing tasks such as project and stakeholder planning, research and analysis, supporting consultations, and helping develop written deliverables (reports or presentations) as a Senior Consultant, you continue to support projects with increased autonomy and responsibility for delivering elements of the project and owning some of the client relationship you will be well supported throughout the delivery of projects by Project Managers and Project Directors who are ultimately accountable for the success of each project all consulting staff are responsible for effectively managing their own workload, including capacity forecasting and being accountable for the work they deliver, as well as educating and nurturing less experienced staff.

The ideal applicants will demonstrate: strong communication (both written and oral) and stakeholder engagement skills the ability to quickly build lasting, trusted relationships with our team and clients, impeccable soft skills and emotional intelligence to understand and adapt to changing situations quickly (and keep up with a fast-paced environment) a growth mindset, underpinned by a willingness to learn and admit mistakes a relentless focus on quality thinking and problem-solving willingness to participate, support and encourage teammates experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines a flexible, friendly, proactive, and fun attitude [for senior consultants] experience delivering successful projects on behalf of clients, including managing small projects/ leading workstreams [added advantage] experience in strategy design, operating model review, program evaluation, service delivery improvement; and/or public sector, procurement or property advisory experience.
