About this role This position is responsible for leading the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patients.
This includes:
Promoting patient safety and quality of care.Providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.Working in collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve national, state and NMHS performance standards and targets.Working within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Medical Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice Committee.This role reports to the Head of Department and supervises multiple positions.
