The FacilityThis is a 260-bed major regional hospital.
Having state-of-the-art facilities, the hospital has been undergoing a number of redevelopment projects at a cost of $324 million, the last of which are due to be completed later this year.
The projects have included the construction of a regional cancer centre, a new Emergency Department, Rehabilitation Unit, Maternity and Paediatrics Unit, Dialysis Unit, and a Learning and Development Centre, together with the consolidation of a number of outlying services into the main Hospital complex.
