THE POSITION Our Client is seeking a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrists to join their Mental Health Service.Various positions are available, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on mental health care in regional communities.
You will be part of the Rural Psychiatry Training WA Program , a ground-breaking initiative transforming rural mental health care in Australia and New Zealand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver high-quality mental health services to patients in the South West Region. Contribute to the training and mentorship of psychiatry trainees. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve mental health care delivery. Engage in research and psychotherapy training as part of the Rural Psychiatry Training WA Program. Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) . Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent. Passion for rural psychiatry and the ability to mentor trainees in a rural setting.
